“We deal with topics such as the meaning of the small, the fragile, femininity, brotherhood and tenderness, as well as how this clashes with harsh reality. Our method is “beauty vandalism.” It is about bringing together contrasts that create conflict — a feeling and state that is particularly characteristic of Russian culture. In our projects, we always start from concrete personal experience, often traumatic, and address broad social issues: from “small to big.”
